Family Festival

Embedded into our Spring Festival will be our Family Festival, giving those of all ages the opportunity to get involved with folk music, dance and crafts.

As well as favourites, such as maypole and skiffle, there will be opportunities for all ages to play and sing together, or to have a go at different folk dances including Morris and rapper dancing. Kids and adults can get crafty with a range of activities including making sock puppets and decorating lanterns for the last-night lantern parade.

We will also be providing a “play-time” room, somewhere those with children can go for time away from the organised activities. It will not be manned, so all children must be supervised by their responsible adult.

Be sure to check the programme for highlighted family-friendly activities.

We will add more information here about the Family Festival as our plans develop.
